John Scott-Cameron is a Reiki Master / Healer / Teacher of Reiki. He is also a Registered Osteomyologist and Naturopath and when requested will give appropriate body work treatments and advice on natural methods of treatment.
The Logo represents the "Tree of Life, the leaves of which are for the healing of the world." and is in triangular form to represent "The Mount of Ascent" so often found in spiritual writings: Moses on Mount Sinai, Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration, Mount Meru and Mount Kailas of the Indian and Tibetan traditions and last but not least in the legend of Dr. Usui receiving the power of healing on Mt. Kurama. This is a reminder to all, that by self-discipline and loving service to all beings, we may climb the mountain and achieve the wholeness of body, mind and spirit symbolized by the surrounding circle.
SPIRITUAL RESPONSE THERAPY (SRT)
John has completed the basic and advanced courses in Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT). He is a member of the Spirit Release Foundation. This therapy is particularly helpful in treating mental, emotional and physical dysfunctions which have their roots in past lives or may be due to unresolved problems with people living in the world of spirit. Sometimes we are also affected by discarnate beings who come into our aura looking for help and thereby drain our energy.

REIKI HEALING
In 1993 Reiki Healing was introduced to Crowborough Clinic of Natural Therapies (Now closed) and a healing room opened. In May 1995 John was initiated as Reiki Master by Isis Livingston at the Shambhala Healing Center in Glastonbury. His primary lineage goes back to Dr. Usui via, Isis Livingston, Judith Tripp Chasin, Jeanine Sande, Arthur Robertson, Iris Ishikuro, Hawayao Takata and Dr. Hayashi. John has also studied Reiki with other masters in order to get a clearer picture of the origins of Reiki.
The Reiki Principles: first enunciated by the Meiji Emperor, are affirmations which remind us in a simple manner of the best way to live life: Today only: Don't be angry; Don't worry; Be grateful; Work hard; Be kind to others. There are clear connections with "The noble eightfold path" of the Buddha and the "Sermon on the Mount" of the Christ. Dr. Usui suggested that these principles should be spoken out loud three times, morning and evening after a period of meditation.
TRAINING IN REIKI HEALING
Training in the different levels of Reiki may be arranged with John by personal appointment. Reiki Masters are also trained through the various levels of Master Practitioner, Usui Master and Master Teacher. See Reiki Training for information.

HEALING AT A DISTANCE
Reiki Practitioners are trained to give healing to people, animals and situations at locations remote from the healer. The healing is as powerful as it would be if the recipient was actually present with the healer. For more details see Distance Healing
SHARING GROUPS
Reiki Healers gain a great deal for their own health and the development of their healing gift by meeting with others on a regular basis for meditation, energy work and healing. See Sharing Groups for meetings.
REIKI PRACTITIONER TRAINING
Reiki students may develop their healing abilities as practitioners through further study and training beyond Reiki 2. Both the UK Reiki Federation and the Reiki Association provide Practitioner and Master Teacher membership for those who qualify to their standards. Suitable insurance is also available.
PRACTITIONERS IN OTHER AREAS

Both the Reiki Association and the UK Reiki Federation are involved in the Reiki Regulatory Working Group (RRWG). The object of this is to formulate guidelines for the training of Reiki Practitioners and Teachers to ensure high standards of treatment and teaching. The end result will be to make Reiki Healing more accessible in Hospitals and other institutional settings.
